Therapy for depression, online across Australia

Warm, evidence-based support for low mood and feeling stuck — via secure telehealth, wherever you are.

Depression can make everything feel heavier and smaller at once — less energy, less interest, less hope that things can change. When you're in it, even reaching out can feel like a lot. If you've made it this far, that already counts.
Therapy offers a steady, non-judgemental space to understand what's keeping the low mood going and to take small, manageable steps back towards momentum, meaning and connection. We go at a pace that works for you.

What this can help with

  • Persistent low mood or sadness
  • Loss of motivation, interest or energy
  • Feeling flat, numb or 'stuck'
  • Chronic or long-standing depression
  • Harsh self-criticism and hopelessness
  • Low mood alongside anxiety or trauma

Low-effort to attend. Sessions run over a secure, encrypted video link from home — no commute, no waiting room. On the hard days, that can make all the difference. A phone option is available too.

Frequently asked questions

Can therapy help with depression?

Yes — psychological therapy can be helpful for many people experiencing depression. We'll work to understand what's keeping the low mood going and gently rebuild momentum, meaning and connection, drawing on approaches like CBT and ACT.

Do I need to be on medication?

Not necessarily. Many people improve with therapy alone, while others do best with a combination of therapy and medication. Medication is prescribed by a GP or psychiatrist; as a psychologist I focus on therapy and can work alongside your doctor.

I can barely get motivated — how can I commit to therapy?

That's exactly the kind of thing we can start with. Low motivation is a symptom of depression, not a personal failing. We'll keep early steps small and manageable, and telehealth means you can attend from home.

Can I claim Medicare for depression therapy?

With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate on each session. See the fees page for details.

A gentle first step

You don't have to feel ready or have the words. Book a telehealth session, or send a short question first.
